The City I live in

Today, when I was on my way home from work I decided to stop at Treasure Island. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is the island that the Bay Bridge runs through. From here, you get to see the following views. I love the views you can see around the bay and I wish for everyone to come up and share them with me.

Also, a little update... I am taking my a nice little vacation to Paris soon. I am meeting up with one of my greatest friends Kyle, who will be backpacking through all of Europe for 3 months. I wish I could do the same, but unfortunately, work does call and I can only go for a week. However, I will be happy with this because I'm sure the time will be spent in good company with good conversations.

I like bicycles

Recently I have had a desire to ride my bike as much as I can. Unfortunately, due to weather and the lack of daylight after work, I cannot go out as often as I would like, which makes me sad =(. Oh well, I still got a few opportunities to go riding recently. A couple Sundays ago I went for a ride with a group and went from SF through Sausalito and Tiburon, which was amazing! The path is below and it was about 45 miles of pure beauty... The ride was filled with the quiet coastal towns, what seemed to be abandoned winding roads and blue skies. Oh yeah, then I nearly died because I was out of shape and didn't have enough water and/or food.

Then of course I have been riding my poop bike around, which I LOVE. I'm getting accustomed to the steep hills. That is, I can now ride up and stop going down them without much fear (usually). I rode pooper all over SF yesterday and had a blast.

Artwork

Lately I have been on a kick of making beautiful artwork. You may have already seen my amazing abilities in amazing posts like, "MORON BIKER IDIOT," so I figured I would share more of my amazingly talented artwork. I've been offered a lot of money for my art, but I'm not going to sell out... Everyone knows that if you make a ton of money off your artwork when you're alive that you won't be famous forever... I know that I will be famous from the following paint masterpieces because um... I'm pretty amazing Thank you Very Much!

RETARDO PLANE MAN

So this past week, once again, my flight was delayed out of Chicago. Yes it is a beautiful place, but the world doesn't function properly because of its retarded airport/weather. So I had two options, take my flight and most likely miss my layover in Houston (Texas sucks) and get stranded there or switch airlines and get home really late. Of course I do not want to be stranded in Texas, so I take the flight. So of course I end up with one of those seats right NEXT to the emergency exit row that you CANNOT recline in and you have less legroom than any other row in the plane (Dad, Mom, did you really have to both be so tall?). So I sit on this plane and by the time we land 3 1/2 hours later, my legs have absolutely no blood in them anymore, so I walk around, do some stretches, etc. (airports are filled with weirdos, me being one of them) in preperation for my next flight (out of vegas). So by this time I'm pretty tired (its 11:59 pacific and I am still on central so I'm feeling like its 1:59) I get on the flight and its fairly spacious and a really short flight. So I pass out for 1/2 of the flight and wake to tubbers next to me snoring up a storm. At this point, I really don't care, I just want to be home. So we finally land and this is where the story gets good.

As I'm getting up the rude guy in front of me acts as if he owns the plane. First lets get a description of retardman. The guy is your typical white trash bikerFAG. He is between 35-45, has a black bandana on (with white accents), a black shirt with something dumb written on it like motorcycles or something, cheap blue jeans, some retarded tattoo that says "I'm gay" in mandarin (which he thinks means "strength," and some tasteless Kmart shoes. So now back to the story... Retardobikerman steps up bumping into me as he scrambles to put a half smoked cigarette in his mouth as his brother (equally trashy) speaks of how great is smells. Their sister (also around the same age as the two) needs a wheelchair and is hobbling around as they look like fools. So as we exit the plane (they are in front of me) they have to stand on the side to wait for their sisters wheelchair and I hear the guy say, "this is bullshit, the chair should be here already." I look back and think to myself, "yeah moron, your chair is magically going to appear right here in front of you from the bottom of the plane... Jackass." Well I guess my face showed it and somehow he realized that I looked back when he said that and he started yelling stuff at me (I think I heard faggot in there somewhere). So he ends up coming up behind me (he was about 50 feet back) and hits me in the back of the leg with his suitcase and I turn around to ask him, "what the hell is your problem." He says, "what are you going to do about it... I tell him, I'm going to call the cops because you're harassing me." He says, "go for it." I say, "I am." We get off and I go to the airline hostess and tell her to page the cops because this guy is harassing me. She says it over the loudspeaker asking for a sheriff. The guy immediately takes his bag, lets out the handle and starts booking it for the door (this guy probably had a warrant out or something). I follow him all the way out (lets face it, we just got off a plane... He can't have a knife or gun and he'll get arrested if he hits me) and he is obviously scared. Unfortunately the moron got away without the cops catching him (yeah.. no cop all the way through the entire aiport to the parking lot... ORANGE SECURITY LEVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!). His brother walks by and says, "did you rat my brother out." I said, "I sure did, you should tell him not to harass people."

Thats my story for this week of flying... I basically chased a guy out of an airport and got to laugh at how desperate the moron is... But if you see him, please let me know.. He looks like this.retardedman

An Update

So this past month has been one of the most hectic and stressful months I can remember. I moved, took on a new role with my job, have been living in cramped quarters, and will be preparing to move once again in the next couple weeks. I guess the majority of these things wouldn't really be all that bad, but every other week I am traveling. The travel isn't overwhelming either, its just that I can't get any fluidity going. Just as I try to get things in line in one area, I'm right back on a plane flying somewhere else. For instance, I moved in week one and got settled, only to leave to Kentucky the next week. Then I get back and take on my territory and go meet my clients (working about 60 hours doing so) and now I'm on a plane to Baltimore. I have to say, I am quite anxious to be in our new place (off of Geary) in San Francisco and get some stability in my life again. I know the change is all going to be so worth it but the path to steadiness has been quite the tiring one.

So as I am sitting on this plane, I figured I would fill my countless hours of travel writing some tips to flying from a stylish jetsetter like myself.

1 - Wear slip on shoes or sandals, it is easier for you and the person behind you when going through the security line.
shoes

2 - Book your flight earlier than I did this time around, you don't want to sit next to the lavatory (not because it smells, because people walk by all the time). If you get and aisle seat, try to sit as close to first class as you can, some airlines don't want coach walking through first class, so you will have less people bumping their fat asses into you (literally).
lavatory bad

3 - Wear a hoodie. A hoodie is your best friend on a flight. If you are cold, it keeps you warm. If you are hot, take it off and use as a pillow or throw in a bag (it’s not big, it’s a hoodie!). Also, if you go for a larger hood like mine, it makes a great sun shade and you look like a gangster badass.
hoodie rofl

4 - Don't wear a belt. 50 percent of the time it really doesn't matter if you have a belt on for a metal detector, but I find it to be a hassle to take my belt off and put it back on when going through security.

5 - Don't fly American airlines. This is all personal bias, but I've had more unpleasant experiences on that airline than any other. For instance, not letting me late check my bag (or sending it on a later flight) forcing me to do a redeye and pay a $75 change fee. Or another time where the flight got cancelled and nobody told us anything about the flight until 5 minutes after it was supposed to leave.

6 - If you are single and flying southwest, B boarding group 1-30 is awesome. This allows you to cherry pick your seat. Most people have already taken the window or aisles, but a few are left and then you can select who you sit next to, not the other way around. This strategy helps avoid sitting next to the fatty that takes up 1/4 of your seat or the plagued SOB that's coughing all over the place or the psycho that that sings to her baby through the entire flight (all of which have happened to myself or a friend). But more importantly, it allows you to pick a seat next to the cute brunette that you get to chat to for the next couple of hours.

6 - I am feeling the number 6 today, so we'll use it a couple times. Ways to sleep - My favorite is the pull the tray table down and use your arm as a pillow (my gigantic muscles make for great pillows, for those that aren't as lucky, the hoodie would come in handy). My buddy Jared goes for the window seat lean, meaning he lays his tired little head on the wall. The other strategy is the “lay back with your retarded jaw open strategy” that I see from most people. Lastly, I can sometimes make the use my hand as a pedestle for my beautiful head, which I learned in highschool government classes.

7- Fly nonstop at all costs. Jetblue is awesome for nonstop cross country flights into lesser known airports (this is their strategy to be the amazing company they are) and they have awesome TV's that make it impossible to read.

8 – Don’t sit at the back of a AirTrans Flight, you will get this much leg room… (look @ that awesome fade on those jeans) leg room rofl

Lastly, here is the view that I get to see oh-so-often… Aren’t you so jealous? Okay, so sometimes it is cool but sometimes its just nice to sleep in your own bed… Even if it is on your friend’s apartment floor without any bedding on it..

Umm... So

IMG00138

So do you recognize this place? Oh yeah, that would be my soon to be home. I found out today that I will be taking a territory (for work) in San Francisco California. So come July 1st, I will be a resident of Northern California. Bai Bye overcongested, homogenous southern California... Here I come Northern California. I can't wait!
