Sacramento/Folsom/Roseville

This last week I had a short flight up to Northern California. I flew into Sacramento and headed down to work in Folsom (but stayted in Roseville). I wasn't feeling very adventurous this week, so I didn't go into the city or go see the beautiful landscape. Instead, this week I spent time reading a great book my friend Roxi gave me. The book is called "What is the What" and it is an amazing story about a Sudanese refugee. If you have any desire to pick up a new book, "What is the What" is a great read for anyone, it will really open your eyes to the things going on in this world.

I also started studying Spanish again with the Rosetta Stone program (thanks to all those who gave me gifts for my graduation, that is how I bought it). So far it is easy because I already have a decent foundation in Spanish. I'll keep everyone informed on how the program works as I get to lessons that are more difficult and contain unfamiliar content.

Next week I will be in Minnesota, so I will definitely be taking some pictures there.

So I deleted my blog a while back for no apparent reason. I think I did it because I wasn't using it much and quite frankly, I don't think many people even looked at it. However, I think I am going to start posting some cell phone pictures (I don't have a camera) from all the places that I visit while I'm working. So I guess I will start off by posting some ones from past weeks.
